Stained Glass, a practical introduction
A great introduction to stained glass of all sorts of colours and textures. Make your very own genuine stained glass panel (approx. 30 x 25cms) or mirror using traditional stained glass techniques.
Over the two days, you will learn how to make a design, select and cut glass and use tools correctly, lead up your panel and learn how to solder. You will then "cement" and polish it ready for hanging up or installing if you wish.
There will be a selection of designs available if you feel artistically challenged!
There will be plenty of information on stained glass history and traditional and contemporary designs as well as an insight into other uses of stain glass.
All stained glass tools and materials supplied.
N.B. If you would like to install your panel, or if it is larger than specified, please contact Anna on 01525 373326 before the course. Her website is www.annacontistainedglass.co.uk. Click on her name above to see more about her.
