A practical workshop for the tortoise owner or enthusiast.

The workshop will cover:

v      Identification of different tortoise types

v      Tortoise gardens and indoor accommodation      

v      Illnesses – signs and symptoms

v      Weighing, measuring, worming

v      Trimming beaks and nails

v      Hibernation

There will be plenty of opportunity to handle a range of tortoises, practise health checks, and ask questions in friendly supportive atmosphere. A resource pack will be provided to take home, full of useful advice on good husbandry of the tortoise(s) in your care.
