NB  Due to the practical nature of the course, we have to restrict numbers so an early booking is recommended.

  • Gear cable replacement
  • Brake cable & pad replacement*
  • Crank, bottom bracket removal/replacement*
  • Stripping, cleaning and rebuilding a hub

The objective of the course is to give hands on experience in tasks that would be undertaken in a workshop.

Exceeded all expectations.

Such knowledge and confidence.  Friendly easy presentation.  Felt comfortable asking stupid questions.  Delicious food.

Excellent teaching.  Perhaps trying to divide himself between too many people.

Packed a lot in very successfully.

Good level of detail but impossible to cover everything in one day.  Lots of neat tips and tricks.

Very ambitious content.  Difficult to cover with varied group needs.  Worked for me well. Breige

Thank you for your excellent hospitality today, it is very refreshing to spend a day away from the hurly burly doing something we love.  Sue D.

Excellent course, ticked all the boxes, event and staff excellent.  Thank you very much for a splendid day.  Andre G

Excellent day gaining much more knowledge of bike maintenance.  Can’t fault any part of the day.  Graeme was very helpful and informative, also very approachable. Catering was excellent with lovely food.  Overall a very worthwhile day.

What to Bring

  • A bike - an old one is better than a new one
  • Allen keys
  • A work stand if you have one - please try and borrow one if not
  • Overalls/old clothes
