Learn how to build your own garden walls, concrete reinforced foundations, bases for sheds, plinths,  etc. with the help of a professional bricklayer, Mac Knox Weir.  (Click on his name to see more about him.)   This is designed as a practical day, almost all of it hands-on.

Course content:

Walls, curved walls (crinkle-crankle), plinths, brick edgings, brick paving, shed bases, brick bonds and when to use them, pointing and re-pointing, arches, mortars, which bricks to use and why.
