The call-out charge for a plumber will be a minimum of £40.  Save yourself money by learning a few basic plumbing tricks, with the help of an experienced professional.

Mick (shown left with his assistant Vic Read) will explain how to cure leaking showers, taps, radiators and ball valves, change washers, free up pumps and many other problems that could be solved by someone who is reasonably handy.  He will also tell you which tools would be useful for which job, and which materials.

The day will consist of explanation of the theory in the morning and then you will have a chance to try it out in practical exercises during the afternoon.

This course is for people who like to do things around the house and who have a few basic tools.

No previous experience necessary!

Students comments:

Excellent course about a basic household need.  Not only did it cover the theory and give hands on experience but it was also easy to understand and very interesting.  Both Mick and Vic were very happy to answer all our questions.  The lunch was an additional treat and very healthy.

Excellent day.  It really enjoyed it and feel it has been very useful.  I can't think of anything that could have been done better.
