A great introduction to stained glass of all sorts of colours and textures.

Make your very own genuine stained glass panel or mirror (approx. 30 x 25cms) using traditional stained glass techniques.  If you would like to design it beforehand, it should be of an abstract or simple design consisting of not more than 10 pieces.  There will be a selection of designs available if you feel artistically challenged! Over the two days, you will learn how to make an abstract or simple design of ten pieces or less, select and cut glass and use tools correctly, lead up your panel and learn how to solder. You will then 'cement' and polish it ready for hanging up or installing if you wish.

There will be plenty of information on stained glass history and traditional and contemporary designs as well as an insight into other uses of stained glass.

All stained glass tools and materials supplied.

N.B: If you would like to install your panel or if it is larger than
specified, please contact Anna before the course.
