Dot Reed is a freelance embroiderer, a practising textile artist and qualified tutor teaching in North Essex Adult Centre after completing City & Guilds Embroidery Parts 1 and 2.  She also runs day schools in various aspects of hand and machine embroidery.
She is a founder member of the 02 Textile Group formed to promote embroidery and has held a highly acclaimed premier exhibition.
