Mary Roberts B.Mus, LTCL, MTC
Mary is a singer and voice teacher, with over 25 years experience in private practice with actors, singers, business-people, priests, those facing health challenges as well as people of all ages who wish to explore their voices for personal, professional or just for fun.
After her music degree, she did a post-graduate teaching certificate at London University, Institute of Education, after which seh trained at the Royal College of Music Opera School, and the European Opera Centrum. She also won a scholarship to study with Galina Vishnevskaya at the Britten-Pears School at Aldeburgh, as well as masterclassing with many top musicians.
Her last teacher was Vera Rosja, Kiri Te Kanawa's teacher and she has worked with Covent Garden and Glyndebourne coaches, conductors and accompanists. She has sung in opera, oratorio, concert and recitals.
She has run regular weekly workshops at the Priory Hospital in Roehampton, London, and also courses at RADA in London, and at the colleges of Cambridge University, as well as working privately with individuals.
