Sue Marsden trained initially as a painter at Bath Academy of Art.  She has been re-seating chairs since leaving art college about 25 years ago.  She lives in Sudbury and has a steady stream of work coming in.  She loves the restorative nature of the work, particularly with chairs that have been within a family for several generations.  A few years ago she was asked to rush four chairs by a particular date "because Prince Philip is coming for breakfast".
